On the eve of Fallingwater’s 75th anniversary, Bob Sendall of All in Good Taste Productions is calm and collected as he prepares for this month’s celebration of an American architectural masterpiece. “It’s silly how many people in our area have never been to Fallingwater — I have yet to see anything more impressive,” Sendall says. For the past year, Sendall and Lynda Waggoner, Fallingwater’s director and vice president of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, have been brainstorming and planning a whimsical event to celebrate the history and continuing importance of Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous design.
